Docaro ("we", "us", "our") is a mobile application for tracking vehicle service history. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable laws of the Republic of Latvia.
We collect the following data that you provide directly: • Vehicle information (make, model, year, VIN, mileage) • Service records (dates, costs, descriptions, photos) • Account information (email address via Google or Apple Sign-In) • Reminders and notification preferences • FCM device token for push notifications
Your data is used exclusively to: • Display your vehicle history within the app • Send you service reminders via push notifications • Provide AI-assisted receipt recognition (processed via Anthropic API) • Improve app performance and fix errors We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Docaro uses the following third-party services that may process your data: • Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, database, storage, and push notifications. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy • Anthropic API — AI receipt analysis. Privacy policy: anthropic.com/privacy • Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In — authentication only All third-party processors are bound by GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete all your data at any time via Settings → Delete account and data. Upon deletion, all personal data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
